Meanwhile, in an AU taking place on 20th century Earth:  This is just a lame excuse to draw Nazi uniforms related to a Woodstock gag pic I posted on tumblr a couple of months ago. When this idea grows up, it's gonna be a fancomic with Nazis and hippies and Hells Angels and drugs and the CIA. I ain't even joking. |

Fantardism - I NEED THIS O____O This is such a cool idea! So Knives and Vash lived through WWII, and then they go on to live through the 60's? I assume Vash did terrible things / let terrible things happen / tried to prevent terrible things and spends the 60's as a distributor of love and peaceeeee I love your brain, let me marry it?  |

Wow, glad to see I'm not the only uniform fetishist around here XD. Thanks, you guys! karaii: At first I thought: Vash and Knives are the end result of one of those nutty super soldier programs the CIA ran in the post-war years. But then I realized that tall, blond, twins with superhuman strength, intelligence and reflexes, an accelerated development rate and weapons of mass destruction build into their bodies are basically Hitler's wet dream and decided to go with that. Plenty of opportunities for life-altering traumas there, too. I figure after the war, the Yanks captured Vash, the Russians captured Knives and then the both of them got thrust into every armed conflict of the Cold War era, up to and including Vietnam (to Vash's infinite dismay, of course). Then the 60's came, the hippies crawled out of the woodwork and Vash went “MY PEOPLE, they have landed ;_;”, gave the finger to the high command and went AWOL. RE:marriage: my brain is already picking out wedding dresses :V BlueWindOfDeath: I can certainly see the parallels, but I'm actually toying with the idea of making Knives not completely insane and genocidal in this one. Not necessarily heroic, but not the big bad of the story, either. @thought-Ripples: My doodles are all published under the “Knock yourself out” license (coloring, icons, absolutely anything). If you decide to color any of them, I'd love to see the result! Here's Meryl and Milly from the 60's portion of the story.  Long post is long, sorry! I'll post about Wolfwood later. |

Here's a banner for my crossover. It was a lot of fun incorporating the FFVII: DoC gun attachments! EDIT: I colored this, but since it's still the most recent post, I went ahead and swapped the image. If I never have to draw Vincent's gun again, I'll be thrilled. Ugh.  |

You guys make me so jealous with all your cool Trigun fanart. Meanwhile, I draw silly doodles. XD Like 3 key poses of Vash doing a one-handed flip away from... a love interest, I think. Whichever one you prefer.    Yeah I spent a whole class period doodling the strange and interesting ways that Vash can move. Like how easily he can do a split:  And dodging bullets matrix style:  Okay that's enough of my silly doodles for now. XD |
