Jeredu: I love seeing your stuff colored. I just really wanted to tell you that. It's really fantastic. fantardism: You almost don't need to introduce yourself. I feel like you're the fandom's resident artist. XD I'm all over the place when it comes to art, so I do Trigun, but randomly... and in random styles/mediums. I just wish Nightow had the foresight not to put him in short shorts! XD HAHA those shorty shorts make me grin! <3 My theory is that they're short because he's going through such a ridiculously quick growth spurt due to the modifications made on his body, in such a short time, that he doesn't have time to buy new stuff until it's necessary to let him move around easier. Really like your style, Karaii. I'm a sucker for that cross between western and eastern schools. Anyway, I, too, draw Trigun a lot. Probably a lot more than a sane person would, so I'll just post a couple of pics and be done with it for now. Thank you!! This is a huge compliment for me, because I enjoy meshing the things I like and that includes western and eastern art. Also, I LOVE your art and please never ever stop drawing for Trigun -- sanity's overrated! (I'm also particularly fond of your Meryl/Vash art -- I ship Vash with everyone but the fandom doesn't give Meryl enough credit, she's awesome!) Attachments:

All of this stuff is so fantastic! I wish I could draw this well!
I've had a major art block for a really long time now, so I haven't drawn any Trigun stuff in a long time. :\ I miss drawing everyone so much....

Damn y'all, there is some real talent in this fandom! Makes me wish I could draw. Um... this is about the extent of my drawing "ability." *hangs head in shame* You know what that pic reminds me of? My sister used to have a hamster, and sometimes, just for fun, she'd drop the hamster into the bag of hamster food. The little guy would be ecstatic and start frantically stuffing his face. (And he was a hamster, so he would LITERALLY stuff his face.) I kinda imagine that, after Vash's initial shock at being dropped into a giant donut box, he would react the same way. XD |

Hi I thought I'd share an older (2011) Vash too. Done with watercolours, I'm pretty fond of this drawing   (and as usual for me, a mix of the badlands coat and darkening hair because I can ;P ) |

Looks really sweet, Alnee! Love how you handled the watercolors, especially with the folding of his coat. Flows very nicely! @ Jeredu: AAAA thank you! I LOVE Nightow's gag covers! While I wasn't thinking about them while I was drawing, I wouldn't doubt the probability they were subconsciously influencing me! Needs more crying Vash and blow up dolls... *SHOT*@ Karaii: Aha, thanks a bunch, too! A derpy arm for a derpy Vash. XP And in attempts to figure out what this "art" thing is, I just kinda fooled around in Opencanvas, and drew a (jacket-less) Knives: ... e-expect a lotta Knives fanart from me, btw and then I proceeded to forget what the heck I was doing, and remembered that I cannot draw hands worth canned tuna. 8U Poor thing. Must have accidentally shaved his hands off! Yes that's exactly it! |
