Forgive me for posting this, I felt like it was a conversation worth having.
So here I was on the interwebs, looking for something to do, then I saw some posts online about traveling to fictional realms with astral projection. I never thought this would catch my interest very well, but I was wrong. Surely, if I were to use this technique to go to my favorite works of fiction, I would go to Filgaia of Wild Arms 3.
What about you people? What do you think of this?

Out of curiosity, were they presenting this idea as fiction, like just a what-if, or more seriously, like using astral projection methods to produce some kind of controlled hallucination?
Although, now that I'm thinking about it, the idea of fictional worlds really existing, but on some different plane of existence is a cool idea. It would make for a good book.
If I were visiting fictional worlds, I would probably go into this little video game called "Flower." It's all naturey and pretty, and I'd use it as a quiet little "happy place." (Do a google image search for "flower ps3" and you'll see what I mean.)
If I wanted someplace more interesting, I'd head over to Narnia. Those books were a big part of my childhood, and have always had a special place in my heart.

No, the idea was not presented as fiction. People speak about their experiences on astral projection forums.
If I were to places other than Wild Arms 3, I would go the Filgaia of Wild Arms 2, simply for the fact that it was THE RPG I grew up with.
Then there could be London from Hellsing.
