Can't be the only one who has dreams about our favorite people from that sandy desert planet can I? Last night I kinda had some cute ones.
Wolfwood and Milly were expecting a baby so the group went to Ikea to pick out baby furniture. I cannot for the life of me remember why Wolfwood was getting upset over something, but Vash ended up taking him aside and trying to calm him down because they couldn't afford to pay for a broken crib as well as a functional one. Wolfwood suggested that he could go out of the store and kick Vash around instead. That would make him feel better. Vash wasn't as amused by this idea.
After awhile they got home and they had also bought a wooden block train set and Vash and Wolfwood for some reason decided to play with it. I think was the idea was to have it set up and ready for the kid to play with right away. Only Vash kept knocking over what Wolfwood did until he had to just stand and WATCH.
Milly ended up calling Wolfwood away to help with something and he left. Vash was going to go get something to eat (I think) and started to walk out of the room, but bumped the thing oh so gently with his shoe and train bits just flew EVERYWHERE!
He was running around the room in a panic trying to put it back together EXACTLY as Wolfwood had it or else he'd know and kill him. Eventually Amelia came in and asked what he was doing, Vash told her through tears that he had to get this train set back together or Wolfwood was going to murder him. She felt bad for him and actually with her help managed to get it back together as it should.
Too bad when Wolfwood came back in he could just tell from the look on Vash's face that he had touched it and threw him out of the room as I was waking up. ;D

Oh man, that's a hilarious dream! Poor Vash (and the train set). |D It's a little uncommon for me to dream about Trigun for some reason, but the occasions where I do, I can remember them pretty well. One I still think back to, was this one dream I had a couple years back, where Legato held me, Dr. House (yes), and tons of others as hostages. But when a powerful storm was about to wipe us out, he decides to RESCUE us by transporting everyone to another dimension. When we all grouped together, he gave us all jetpacks, and sent us on our way to... somewhere. Shortly after, he meets this curly-red-haired kid. Seems random enough, until we learn this kid is supposed to be the DEVIL. So what does Legato do? He KILLS the devil. Way to go Legato. Saved us AGAIN. ... Except then it's revealed Legato is actually the Anti-Christ/Beast. Still not sure which one; I just know he TRANSFORMS INTO A GIANT, FIREY BALROG-ESQUE HELL MONSTER, while this green ominous cloud swirled over him. ... what's the green cloud around Legato? Oh, that's just Satan. It's like the Trinity form Hell going on or something, except one is dead. And we were all going to die. But it's okay. Because EVEYRTHING THAT HAPPENED? Was just a dream someone ELSE was dreaming, IN my dream. That I was watching on my TV. ... Yes. And then I woke up. Still one of the best dreams I ever had. And... I really haven't been able to think about Legato the same way ever again. oh, and I dreamed this last year (this was also drawn last year): 24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m491hbg9bj1rvu3r3o1_r1_500.png(he made that exact face) and then Knives forced me to sing in a choir while riding in a helicopter. ... a similar dream happened a few months ago, though it was far less silly-weird, and more... just... cryptic and... creepy.

zigzag: Oh no, your dream is giving me otp feels, help! Moogy: That had me giggling as I read it. XD It seemed like I went through a weird little dream phase where I had several Trigun dreams in short succession, except that they were all incredibly short. One, which I think I've told before on tumblr, had Vash and Knives all up in each other's faces, scowling at each other, about to have a smack down. And then Wolfwood came up and banged their heads together and told them to knock it off. In another, Vash was holding a corgi (it might have been Ein from Cowboy Bebop, but I'm not sure). He was offering it to Knives, saying, "You seem really unhappy all the time. So I GOT YOU A PUPPY!" And then there was one were Vash and Wolfwood were standing there. Wolfwood was very quickly and very angrily eating a banana. Then he threw the peal down and said, "There! Are you happy now!?" Vash had his arms folded across his chest and gave a firm nod. "Yes."

Ah, those are some fun dreams!
Mine are a bit more... Depressing. I'll post properly later, since I actually wrote these down. But one involves Vash locked in a dark empty place with only Wolfwood's ghost to talk to...
Another involves Vash and Wolfwood in a train riding on a railway made of light over an empty, abandoned city.

The only Trigun dream I remember is a weird one I had years and years and years ago. In it, Vash and Knives were sledding down hills on matresses.
That's all I remember.

A little while ago I also had a dream that Wolfwood and Sanji from One Piece discovered that there were aliens that were going to come try to take over the Earth so they decided to try to build a space ship to go stop them. Much arguing, kicking, swearing, smoking, and broken bits happened before at some point they both looked at each other and went: WTF were we thinking? NEITHER of us know what the heck we're doing. Let's just go steal one.
So the rest of the dream was the two of them cursing like sailors as they attempted to break into NASA and steal a ship.

One time I dreamed that I had to rush to the air port after class so I got a taxi and while the driver was helping me unload my bags I noticed a Vash cosplayer so I called out to him. We started talking and he was in character so I was like screw my flight, I'm buying you donuts right now. While we were sitting at the counter eating about seven other Vashes showed up. Soon it became a huge fight over who was the real Vash and they had to take it outside. I came to watch but then a Wolfwood showed up and tried to break it up but he hit me with his punisher which knocked me into the middle of it. Then the alarm went off so I never found out who won. And this was before I found tumblr.

Okay, that reminded me of another. I was at some kind of convention, and I learned that there was some deadly virus going around. You picked it up from watching a certain edition of Trigun DVD's, and the bigger the fan you were, the more contagious you were, and Vash cosplayers were crazy-contagious. So basically, I spent a good part of my dream avoiding Vash cosplayers. XD

WHY DO I KEEP DREAMING ABOUT ONE OR BOTH OF THEM DYING. I'm pretty sure the train one was symbolic. Had another last night, but it was Vash who died. Wolfwood was really broken. I'm reminded of the scene in the Two Towers where Aragorn goes over the cliff and Legolas and Gimli stand there looking lost. It was like that, except Wolfwood saw him get filled with bullets FIRST. Then there was this really sad bit where he goes down to the bottom and is checking the bodies looking for Vash. He can't just leave him there. Finally finds him and won't leave, keeps shaking his shoulder. Eventually someone came and pulled him off of Vash and he was scrabbling to get back to him, yelling and had to be held down, and Knives shows up and carries Vash away. Then something shifts, and I dunno if this is part of the same dream, because suddenly it's a suburban setting and I'm there somehow. Starts out with me catching kids throwing rocks at the windows, and I scare them into stopping because we have a security system with glass breaking sensors, so the cops would have come after them! But then we go around to the back (why is my driveway area always huge, with trees, and overcast and gloomy in my dreams...?) and are making room because Vash has been regenerating this whole time (from death, no less). And he's finally coming home today. Knives is there, along with a Vash Replica (Tales of the Abyss...?) who looks and ACTS just like his Original, minus the scars and minus the hate for Knives. He's being transported in a huge machine with a weird, organic looking tank of some kind that Vash is being held within. We (who am I in this scenario? No idea) open it up and Vash just kinda pours out like a sack of person and starts to form a proper body- still with all the scars, though. Replica!Vash goes to assist him, and Knives looks on somewhat apprehensively, not sure how he will be received. Then I woke up before it could possibly turn twincesty, which is probably for the better since I don't actually ship that. xD As to the other dreams: The one where Vash is trapped and talking to Wolfwood's ghost looked something like this: And I'll copy my summary of it: "I had the strangest dream the other night. It wasn’t a BAD dream, even though it sounds like one:
Pitch black. except for a shaft of light. Vash is sitting on a wire and machine-strewn platform in a vast black empty space that, despite the open-ness, feels more like an elevator shaft. Lots of stuff happens. Wolfwood gets killed. Vash won’t let anyone near the body.
Wolfwood stays flawless, as though frozen or suspended in time. Vash talks to his ghost. He can’t see the ghost, so he talks to the Punisher cross instead. He’s trapped, and there’s the overwhelming feeling that there are others silently observing all of this and doing nothing but watching. Wolfwood tries to encourage Vash. Vash wants to find a way out, and it seems as though by finding a way out, it would undo everything that transpired in this place. There are whispers, but Vash is powerless and suspended in this dark place.
Alchemy is somehow involved, and the characters Wolfwood and Vash are somehow ALSO simultaneously Hughes and Mustang later on in the dream? I’m leaving that part out for simplicity. Mostly, I was compelled to paint this one because it was so VIVID.
Again, you’d think any dreams involving Vash talking to a dead body would be bad, but it was more intriguing than anything else. "The other dream I mentioned is a little stranger- more vivid, but more vague and specific at the same time. Vash and Wolfwood are seated next to each other on an otherwise empty train. They sit in companionable silence. Out of the windows, a city can be seen not far below. In fact, they seem to be on an elevated track about a hundred or so feet above it. The strangest thing is that the city is completely devoid of life. Nobody can be seen anywhere. It's as though the city has been abandoned, but recently. Everything is clean and sunlit, and instead of a feeling of dread, I get a feeling of calm. It's as though the city is waiting to welcome new inhabitants, rather than mourning for the ones who left it. But the city is not the focus of the dream. Instead, we see that the railway is not a railway at all, but a path made of prismatic light. In the distance, I see a station of some kind in the air, a mile or more above the surface. Dozens of similar paths are all converging there, so it appears to be some kind of Terminal. A column of light transfixes it, pinning it between earth and sky. Vash and Wolfwood look on as though this is new and unfamiliar, but also not really that interesting. Only mild curiosity compels them to look out the window now and then. It's odd, though, because rather than being arranged facing forward, the seats face the aisle. There's a bit of strange turbulence, and everything goes dark. When there's light again, Wolfwood is sprawled over Vash. Vash just kinda looks on in acceptance of whatever Wolfwood's about to do. Wolfwood leans forward, then changes his mind, gets up, and returns to where he was sitting. (Yes, even my dreams are a tease, apparently). Vash gives a disappointed sigh, and things continue much as they were. I wake up before they can reach the Terminal. ~~~ I guess the running theme in all of these is that death is not the end of the story in these scenarios. In the Trapped dream, Vash knows that getting out of this weird Simulation thing will undo everything that happened here, so he can still save Wolfwood. But he doesn't know if he CAN get out, so Wolfwood's ghost is there with him, encouraging him. In the Train dream, I'm fairly certain that they have both died, but they are continuing on to whatever comes after. In the Replica dream, they manage to salvage Vash and heal him. So they aren't proper "____ dies" dreams, really.

My dreams tend to make little to no sense at all. I remember the first time I dreamed about Trigun, though.
I was standing on the porch of some church or something and I said to no one, "These pants are no good." Vash suddenly appears and says "Here, you can borrow my shorts," and hands me a pair of black shorts. I put them on and they fit me like a pair of dress pants and I say "Thanks, these are perfect!" and go inside the church thing.
An even stranger one, which was a mega crossover of sorts but Legato and the Gung-Ho Guns were the bad guys. Lina and Gourry (from The Slayers) were kidnapped by Legato and the Gung-Ho Guns and I had to save them. So I fought Legato and managed to knock his weird spiky shoulder guard off and it turns out that arm was actually robotic or something bizarre like that. Legato runs away and goes to this weird machine that gathers power and uses his mind control powers to make me start operating it, which involved me running on some weird treadmill thing. Meanwhile, the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack suddenly starts playing in the background (Hot Patootie I think it was). I start running so fast I transform into Cheetor from Beast Wars and I break free from Legato’s powers and escape to an elevator. Somehow I turn back into me and run into this weird giant dining room and start looking for Lina and Gourry. Then Lina calls out “OVER HERE KATIE” and they’re at a bar just eating? But Gourry looks more out of it than usual so I guess they’re being kept there by Legato's mind control power. I run over and pull them free and they both like clamp on to me and are like “oh thank you thank you!” Lina is nuzzling my hair and Gourry is kissing me over and over. Then we all escape and Legato shouts “CURSES!!!” like some cartoon character villain who's evil scheme was just foiled.
And the most sense-making one I can remember right now was actually kinda sad. I was reading the first volume of the manga, but the storyline was way different. It started with Chronica landing on Gunsmoke/No Man’s Land in a space ship thing to check up on the planet. Vash and Knives were living on there but they were only children (like the age where Rem was taking care of them). Turns out Chronica was actually the twins’ mother. She was visiting with Vash and Knives and I notice Vash’s hair is already turning black. Chronica seemed really sad and Vash couldn’t understand why. Vash was already dying and Chronica didn't have the heart to tell him. It was sad :c

Oh, Jeredu, if you weren't around, where would we get our daily dose of feels? XD
While we're on a serious note, I've got one more. I dreamed one time that it was the end of the manga and Knives was dying. Except that his body was disintegrating slowly, and he was standing there calmly waiting for the end to come. Then Vash showed up, saw what was happening to Knives and was instantly in tears, begging Knives not to go. Knives stayed calm and told Vash that it was okay. Everything was going to be okay. It was better this way. Knives disappeared entirely, leaving Vash sitting there crying. But then he noticed that Knives had left something behind. Rather than exhausting the last of his powers to create a tree, like he did in the manga, he had created a clone of himself and had left a baby behind. He had done it so that he wouldn't be leaving Vash all alone. He had a new brother now, and one that would treat him better than Knives ever had. When Vash saw this and realized what Knives had done and why, he started crying all over again.
When I woke up, I was like, "Oh no! Brotherly feels! Aah!"

Vash ALMOST made a brief cameo in my dream last night. Skipping the long bit I was showing my sister around a virtual reality version of World of Warcraft and was showing her how to complete quests. At one point we were on a really hard one where you had to pick up a certain item. I found one for her to pick up (as I already had mine) but this jerk came up and watched us as she came over and I was trying to explain how to pick it up. Then he stepped on it and crushed it right as she was about to pick it up.
We were pissed at having to wait for another to respawn now and me being the protective big sister type basically suplexed the guy into a coma for being an asshole and locked him in a shed. Some time passed as we waited for the thing we needed to respawn when this huge group of guys came up and started SCREAMING at me. At first I was having trouble understanding what they wanted, then I thought they were guildmates of the guy I had just locked in a shed and was about to tell my sister to run for it, but no - they were trying to complete the catch the Vash the Stampede quest and thought I was hiding him in the shed.
I just had to open the door to prove that I wasn't hiding Vash, while yelling at them that Vash never spawns in these low level areas and to stop scaring off new people! They ran off and me and my sister went off to fight zombies that lead into much more of the dream, but that's the bit where Trigun managed to weddle it's way into my brain last night.

This isn't as cool as all the other dreams on here, but I once dreamt I was reading a new trigun manga and it involved Vash and Meryl having this very serious discussion, assumably after Meryl did something like confess to Vash. He sends her on her way, rejecting her because he can't watch her slowly slip away from him (as in, age and die) when he's in love with her. Then he sees her again when he's sitting on a park bench in town after not having seen her in a while, and he just starts crying.
I also had a dream that... was mostly a monologue in an empty room/void, Evangelion style. I guess I've joked that Vash being mind raped like Asuka would be a great plot far too many times? Because he was talking about watching humanity from afar and how he wished for the longest time that he could really be accepted by them for who he was. He brought up a manga scene, the one where he was chased out of town after using a defensive feather to save himself from a bullet to the head? And he mentioned how scared he was to really be close to others, but how achingly lonely he felt. And then he did that thing Asuka does during her own angry rant in a void scene, and just starts yelling "I don't want to be alone, I don't want to be alone!" over and over again. ;~;
