Pandemonium
Noun: Wild and noisy disorder or confusion; uproar. Story: As Vash's Angel Arm blew a hole in the fifth moon, in the Maximum (Manga) and Anime universes, the two worlds began to slowly combine until the universes' perfect order began to break. This lead to the 'leaking' of worlds unto Gunsmoke, characters from different worlds ending up on this ball of sand and trying to adapt to their new settings. The story begins in episode 19 of the anime and after Vash leaves Lina and her grandmother in the manga. You can take any character from any world (franchise) that you wish, just as long as you tone down the power. This might have its own continuity, but that's up to how we play to the destination. Both OCs and Canons are welcome, so all aboard! Template: Canon Character Name: Series character is from: Basic Bio: Weapon (if any): What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Character theme (if any): OC Character Name: Bio: Weapon: What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Character theme (if any): Rules: 1: "This world is made of Love and Peace!" Please respect your fellow players and allies alike during your experience. 2: No godmodding! If all yer here to do is godmod, than you are going to be disappointed. 3: Try not to kill any characters... That is, unless they allow their characters to be killled. 4: Have fun! Once we have enough characters, the RP will start.

Pssst! Would you be okay with OC's? I've got some characters from a Victorian fantasy story that I think I might like to play around with. If you'd like to stick to real-life franchises, I'll think of someone else.

Oh boy, even though I can't write for crap this sounds like fun! I don't even know if I'll be able to go through with this, though... I assume we're allowed to have multiple characters so... One thing's first: Though from the same game, in this thread, somehow Lucia and Nall/Ruby are from alternate time lines. Ruby and Nall ended up on Gunsmoke after the events of Lunar Eternal Blue, but Lucia ended up on Gunsmoke before the events of Lunar Eternal Blue. Needless to say when they meet it will be quite strange. Character Name: Nall & Ruby (inseparable duo) Series character is from: Lunar Basic Bio: Nall is a white dragon of Althena. In a form resembling a flying cat and eventually an adult white dragon, he was the constant companion to Dragonmaster Alex in Lunar Silver Star Story. 1000 years later, in the events of Eternal Blue, he mastered attaining a human form and switching between all three forms. Not realizing his immortality and devastated by the loss of his friends, he coped by surrounding himself with children by creating a "neverland" for orphans on a piece of the grindery, called Taben's Peak. The orphans must leave as soon as they reach a certain age, so Nall would never have to see another friend grow old and die in front of him. He also refuses to make connections with humans outside of the orphanage, as he is afraid of becoming too attached and losing another friend. Ruby is a much younger and inexperienced red dragon. She has yet to learn how to take on a human form and can barely control her adult dragon form. She lives with Nall on Taben's Peak to learn how to make the most of her powers. Both will do anything for fish... Just try not to call them cats. Weapon (if any): Ruby is quite capable of singeing off eyebrows with just a hiccup, but with some effort she has a somewhat potent fire breath. Though it's difficult for her, she is able to engulf herself in flames and charge at an opponent while on fire. She's still learning how to do much more, though. In her adult dragon form, she will be capable of much more devastating firepower. As a white dragon, Nall is less powerful than other dragons (though the sheer size of his dragon form is plenty to defend himself) but has very specific healing powers. He can't revive the dead, or even heal wounds, but if someone is very close to death or is knocked out, he may be able to awaken/save their life with his abilities, but with very little of the target's vitality remaining. He can wield a sword in human form if needed. His human form is his most commonly utilized form, used when ruling Taben's Peak (the orphans previously did not know he was a dragon, that is until he needed to become a dragon to help save Lunar, and having to teach Ruby at Taben's Peak) and interacting with humans. The "Flying cat" form is used for scouting and traveling quickly over short distances, and fitting into tight spaces. His adult white dragon form is used for traveling long distances or high in the sky, or in times of great danger. What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Nall was tending to Taben's Peak as always, while teaching Ruby how to better control her forms. Character theme (if any): I will go by both definitions of "theme". XD Childish and carefree, with a hint of sorrow.Character Name: Lucia Series character is from: Lunar Eternal Blue Basic Bio: Lucia is known as the Princess of the Blue Star. Her sole purpose was to revive the Blue Star after Zophar's assault. Having never been in contact with a being other than Althena, she knows nothing of human customs and emotions. Weapon (if any): She wields no weapons, but is capable of attacking with non-elemental "holy magic". What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Sleeping in her crystal, waiting to resurrect the blue star... She was awakaned prematurely, but instead of ending up on Lunar like she is supposed to in Lunar Eternal Blue, she ended up on Gunsmoke... Character theme (if any): A blank slate. A new beginning.

Okay, here's my OC's. I'm listing them separately, but they're pretty much a two-for-one deal.
Character Name: James Roberts (Frequently goes my Jim or Jimmy) Bio: Twenty-something, blonde. He hails from a Victorian fantasy world and works in a special police unit that investigates magic-related crimes. Despite his occupation, he's a pretty normal guy, and is constantly surprised at how weird his life is. Weapon: A pistol What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Just a normal life: wake up, go to work, try not to let magic do anything weird to him, go home, get food, pet the dog, go the bed. Character theme (if any): I'm not really sure what you mean by this. ^_^;
Character Name: Charlotte (Jim calls her "Cherry.") Bio: Jim's dog, who's actually some kind of hell hound. Her head's about waist high, and she has shaggy black hair and red eyes. When angry, she's a nightmare, but she's actually a big sweetheart. She can understand human speech and has a few supernatural powers. Weapon: Teeth and claws. What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Probably taking a nap. Or stalking Jimmy, since she's overprotective of him. Character theme (if any):

I'm throwing some non-Trigun Nightow characters into the mix!
I love writing fic with these two, so I wanna give rp'ing them a shot~
Name: Juji Kabane Series: Gungrave Overdose/Gungrave game universe in general Bio: Juji is an undead warrior—specifically a combination Necroraised deadman (like Beyond the Grave) and monster fueled by the Seed virus, created by the cruel experiments of Garino Corsione. He's in constant pain from the Seed virus raging inside him and must meditate to keep it from taking over and turning him into a full-fledged monster. The virus has ravaged much of his body, and caused him to go blind. Juji mainly relies on his extremely refined scent of smell in place of his eyes. Personality-wise, Juji's a very grumpy man, and quick to anger. If you trigger his anger at the wrong time, he can be very hard to calm down. He's best buddies with Rocketbilly, although he won't admit it. Weapons: Gunblade - 2, specifically, the right being called Tsumuji and the left Hayate. Tsumuji's blade points down while Hayate's points back. Both gunblades' gun components don't have relatively strong firepower, but it's enough to cover for Juni's lack of sight when he goes in to combat with the blades. What he was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Juji was on the hunt for Garino Corsione to get revenge for the experiments and suffering he was put through. He was with traveling with Billy, following a lead they'd gotten on Garino's location.
Name: Rocketbilly Redcadillac Series: Gungrave Overdose Bio: The ghost of a rockabilly that haunts a guitar that Juji found during his travels, Rocketbilly (also called Billy or RB, the latter mainly by Juji) is a good-humored guy who loves the ladies and goes out of his way to be nice to them. He may come off as silly at times, but he's got plenty of common sense and a strong sense of responsibility. He can play some killer tunes—quite literally—on his guitar. He's basically the polar opposite of Juji, but the two are best friends. Some would say they perfectly complement each other. Weapon: BL20000V, aka Blue Lighting - a blue guitar with an attachment that shoots electricity when the instrument is played (remember those "killer tunes" I mentioned before?). Also serves as Billy's "home" of sorts, as his spirit is tied to it. Too much damage to Blue Lightning, and his spirit will be set free to ascend to... well, wherever he's destined to go. What he was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Billy was traveling with Juji, following a lead on Garino's whereabouts.
Ok I really love these two if you can't tell. My Gungrave Archives book is heavily creased to their section. They're hella fun to play as in the game, and I can't wait to send them on adventures with my favorite Trigun characters and everyone else who's joining them!

Now to throw in a favorite video game protagonist from the game that got me into Trigun.
Character Name: Ashley Winchester Series character is from: Wild Arms: 2nd Ignition Basic Bio: When he was a child, Ashley had lost his parents in a war, and was adopted by the family of Marina Irington in Meria Boule. When he was 19, he was assigned to go with several musketeers under service from the king to the Withered Ruins to rescue a boy, named Tony, taken as hostage by three men. Ashley rescues the boy, accidently freeing the monster Kalivos in the process. Fighting the monster so the others could escape the ruins, Ashley defeats Kalivos and is reprimanded. While reprimanded back in town, he meets Tony's friends, Scott and Tim, and is reassigned to a new musketeer brigade, Agile Remote Mission Squad (Or simply ARMS for short) at the Sword Cathedral, where the legendary Sword Magess fought against Lord Blazer, the Blaze of Disaster, over 1000 years ago.
Suddenly, the team become victim to a ritual known as Demon Summoning, and Ashley becomes host to Lord Blazer himself. Fighting his way to the sword, Argetlahm, he pulls it out and meets the Magess, turning back into a human, and is met by a man known as Irving Vold Valeria before falling unconscious for a week. Later learning it was a terrorist attack, he teams up with Lilka Eleniak, sorceress in training, and Brad Evans, hero turned war criminal, and goes on several missions with ARMS under Irving's command. Later, Tim joins in, and soon afterwards, a Merc known as Kanon, who wishes to eliminate the demon inside Ashley. Facing the terrorist organization Odessa head-on, they go to the airship known as Heimdal Gazzo, and fight the leader, Vinsfeld Rhadamanthus with Lilka, Brad, Tim and Kanon escaping while Ashley fends off against the tyrant, not before they find out word of an incoming threat.
As Vinsfeld dies, he activates a nuclear weapon, Grauswein, sending into space. Ashley does not have time to escape, and is left to float in subspace. Later, he meets the Magess again, who introduces herself as Anastasia Valeria, and go through flashbacks of her life, as well as learning more of Lord Blazer. Returning to Filgaia, Ashley learns more of the incoming threat, and Marina is kidnapped shortly after, leading to Ashley transforming into Overknight Blazer, scarring Marina emotionally. After the fight with Grauswein, Lord Blazer almost takes over Ashley's body, but Marina overcomes her fear of Ashley and welcomes him home, keeping the demon surpressed for a while. After recruiting the Dragon Caliber Lombardia, the team learn that the threat is known as the Kuiper Belt, then recruit the Crimson Noble Marivel, who was a good friend of Anastasia. An attempt to trap the Kuiper Belt fails, and the the team are sent to the wreckage of the Heimdal Gazzo, where they fight Vinsfeld's ghost and make a shocking discovery...
Irving helped fund Odessa.
Irving at that moment, Irving has left with his sister Altacia to the center of Filgaia, where Ashley discovers Irving had founded Odessa to prepare for the Kuiper Belt. After the battle with the Kuiper Belt, Irving and Altacia die due to keeping the enemy inside Altacia, with Irving holding it back with his will. Seeing that Ashley is very disappointed of being the hero, Lord Blazer breaks out and brings Ashley to his world to fight him. Ashley realizes the Argetlahm is not something to be pulled out by the hero alone, and destroys the Blaze of Disaster with prayers of everyone on Filgaia.
Afterwards, he and Marina marry and have two baby twins named Irving and Altacia one year later. Weapon (if any): Bayonet: A rifle with a bayonet blade attached, or (for more advanced forms) a rifle gunblade. In addition, the Bayonet can use different types of ammunition shells called "ARMs Cartridges":
Shot Weapon: Strong attack against one enemy MultiBlast: Attack a single group of enemies BoltAction: Stab-and-shoot (double strong attack) against one enemy DeadOrAlive: Chance for instant death against one enemy ShockSlide: Powerful shockwave attack against one group FantomFang: Powerful armor-piercing attack against single enemy Blast 'Em: Powerful attack against all enemies RisingNova: Massively powerful stab-and-shoot against against one enemy What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Ashley was just living a normal life as a baker, and taking care of his children. Character theme (if any): N/A
Alrighty, who wants to be Vash (anime) and Vash (Maximum)? Same goes for Knives, Wolfwood, some of the Gung-Ho Guns, the Insurance Girls, and of course, Legato Bluesummers.

Character Name: Ezio Auditore da Firenze Series character is from: Assassin's Creed (II, Brotherhood, Revelations) Basic Bio: Growing up in the Renaissance in the city of Firenze, he was the rich, charismatic son of a reputed banker, until his brothers and father were executed for conspiracy against the city and the Pazzi, another prominent family. However, Ezio too was supposed to be hung, but ultimately ended up fleeing the city with his mother and little sister, only after exacting revenge on a man who denied his family's innocence for the sake of money. Ezio found his father's old items -- odd for a banker -- including a strange gauntlet and robes. He learned from his uncle in another city, Monteriggioni, that his family is involved with an order that goes back even before the Crusades. Ezio further uncovered that his family rivals, the ones who accused his family of conspiracy, the Pazzi, are part of a rival order named the Templars. So ultimately, to truly exact his revenge, Ezio became an Assassin, to hunt down the Pazzi as well as the Templars responsible for the death of his brothers and father. Weapons: Dual hidden blades, poison, a sword, dagger, throwing knives, smoke bombs, and a hidden gun. Despite the large arsenal and his armor, he is still only mortal. What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Ezio was residing in Venice, currently at the age of twenty-seven, still working on tracking down and killing Templars. He was preparing for Carnivale and a special mission to kill the newly-appointed Templar Doge.
I thought about taking up another Trigun character but I've always wanted to try playing Ezio, as well as the fact that I'm afraid of exhausting my Knives muse.

When I play Reimu, I will also have a sort of "character of the week" system about different Touhou characters escaping Gensokyo. I will play all of them, but they will all be lower level bosses whose power levels are low or fair for Trigun, as well as having simplistic or nonexistant backstories. So don't expect to see Flandre, ever. And "human-friendly" youkai such as Keine and Nitori know better than to meddle in other worlds, so you probably won't see them either. Character Name: Reimu Hakurei (and youkai) Series character is from: Touhou Project Basic Bio: Reimu is a Miko of the Hakurei shrine. Her job is to exterminate troublesome youkai as well as protect the Great Hakurei Barrier, the border between Gensokyo and Earth... But because of the "Leaking", there seems to be yet another realm connected to Gensokyo through the barrier, and some of said troublesome youkai she must exterminate are slipping through! ...Except, this seems to be a one-way border. Will she ever get home? What will happen to the shrine? Will youkai become unruly? She can't help but worry. Weapon (if any): The Hakurei Yin-Yang orbs. She also carries a purification rod, which is good for a smacking. Like most Gensokyo denizens, she is capable of flight and is able to create danmaku, or curtain fire. Her danmaku utilizes the Yin-Yang orbs as well as calling on divine spirits. Her attacks are weak but highly accurate, though she is a slow flyer. The youkai she must exterminate have various abilities, for instance being able to freeze anything or take control of insects, which they use to create danmaku. Due to the spell card system put in place, danmaku battles are rarely fatal. What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Tending to the shrine, desperately seeking donations, dealing with youkai infestations, and at times eating, drinking, and being merry, sometimes with the youkai she had "exterminated". A "legal drinking age" in Gensokyo is nonexistant, which might result in "culture shock" for Reimu and some youkai. One day, she noticed the barrier seemed different... Character theme: Duty

Character Name: Vash the Stampede Series character is from: Trigun (Anime) Basic Bio: Vash the Stampede seems to be a lighthearted and expert marksman who promotes love and peace as he personally said in several episodes. He pretends to be a merry person who dislikes seriousness, however he is very deep and serious as it can be seen in some difficult situations he finds himself in (more often than he likes to admit). He usually tends to smile too often, that's why Nicholas Wolfwood tells him he has an "empty smile." Behind this smile and his friendly face lies a lot of pain and the burdens that Vash has chosen to carry and deal with. Also known as The Humanoid Typhoon, he is a wandering merry gunman with a 60 billion double dollar bounty on his blond head. Every town he passes through either labels him "an act of God" or "a human disaster.". Nobody can denie (as Meryl said), whoever he meets, that person is suddenly changed, for good. Weapon (if any): .45 Long Colt: Vash habitually carries a custom made .45 caliber silver or nickel-plated revolver, a classic six-shot double-action with atop break reloading mechanism that fires .45 Long Colt ammunition. The engraving on the side of the gun describes it is a ".45 Long Colt AGL Arms Factory" with wings around the "AGL" as in angel. Vash's revolver has the barrel aligned with the 6 o'clock chamber, not the 12 o'clock chamber as is the typical configuration of standard revolvers. Very few weapons follow this form factor, the Mateba Autorevolver, and the Chiappa Rhino being the two most common. In the series, this handgun was created as part of a pair by Knives, of which Vash was given the silver model, and Knives kept the black model. Vash eventually carries both weapons for a time, before losing the black gun to Knives in another fight. Both guns were designed to be used left-handed, though Vash shoots right-handed.
Cybernetic Machinegun Arm: Vash lost his left arm when Knives blew it off using a different revolver, after Vash stole Knives' black Angel Arm pistol years earlier.
Angel Arm: In the series, within Vash's trademark revolver lies the catalyst needed to activate his "Angel Arm". The Angel Arm is Vash's ultimate weapon. Upon activation, his right arm transforms into a weapon powerful enough to destroy entire cities with a single blast. Vash fears the Angel Arm's potential for destruction, and knows little about how to use it. What the character was doing before the Fifth Moon incident: Vash's life then took another dramatic turn one day when he was met by a man who named himself Legato Bluesummers, who tells him his life would end. Vash is framed for the murder of the town's shoemaker, and he is sent to jail. He doesn't stay in there too long, as he realizes that Knives sent Legato. An assassin known as Monev the Gale destroys the cell Vash is in, killing some of the townspeople, angering Vash to a point where Monev almost gets killed. Vash realizes this and spares Monev. When he arrives in Jeneora Rock, he discovers some bandits have been killed inside a saloon and suspects it is Legato's doing, leading to a confrontation with the Gung-Ho Gun known as Dominique the Cyclops. After finding out Legato plans to wipe out all the people in Augusta, Vash decides to trick the civilians into running out of town to avoid the fight, later discovering Monev and Dominique have been executed. He bests E.G. Mine, who is executed by Rai-dei the Blade.
The two fight each other, but when Rai-dei is about to kill Vash, Legato activates the Angel Arm. Afraid that the assassin might get killed, Vash fires the Angel Arm in the sky, blowing a hole into Planet Gunsmoke's fifth moon, and becoming "Mankind's first localized disaster". Rai-dei is later killed by Wolfwood, who discovers Vash's gun in the ruins of the city. Vash then drops the identity "Vash the Stampede" and goes by the name of Ericks, when he lives with a girl named Lina and her grandmother. After getting the gun back from Wolfwood and besting an imposter without killing anyone, Vash journeys with Wolfwood to go find Knives. Character theme (if any):
So, I will post later when I have time.
