This thread is for what would be classified as "Everything Else". All the stuff that doesn't go under the more common fanart, fanfiction, and AMV labels goes here. Cosplay? Fandubs? Remixes? Crafts? Fan animation? Filk songs? Fan Games? All that goes here. All, from the interior design, to the food decorating, to the Crop Circles goes here. Anyway... I make quite a videos. I wanted to put them all in a spoiler but apparently this forum doesn't have spoiler tags. Sorry for the page stretch. Singing (I think I've improved and might redo them): YTP (The good ones I made, anyway...): This one's not mine but it really makes me laugh: Vocaloid and UTAU: (I'm thinking of redoing this with Oliver...) Not mine but: I've made the main cast in Soul Calibur 5 (Ignore my mumbly voice please): I also made a punisher and Wolfwood for the PC version of Super Scribblenauts. Just look them up on the Steam workshop. Now, what are your misc fanstuff?

I've done some Trigun crafting. :3 I made a Vash plush. He's quite big, his hair puts him a little over a foot. Soon after making him a suffered a brief period of depression and man I hugged on him a lot during that time. "Vash, if you can handle all the bad things that happen to you, I can handle my bad things right?" *snuggle snuggle snuggle* I also made a Trigun hanging mobile? Which probably sounds weird. I'll have to see if I can find pictures, because I don't remember if I have any. I'll get back to you on that one. On another note: Seeing "fan game" reminded me that I very nearly attempted making a Trigun video game using RPG Maker. I had it all planned out: weapons upgrades as you leveled up, side games, eating donuts to restore HP... but then I realized I'd have to draw up every frame of every location/object/character/etc. and that felt overwhelming and scared me off. XD

Oh gosh, what an adorable plushie!! And you made it? RESPECT *A*
And MAN! I would KILL for an RPG Maker game of Trigun! When I was a preteen I used to make RPG Maker games and used to modify preexisting character sheets, so I might be able to find a base and make a cool-looking Vash out of it now. I'll post it here if I ever get around to doing so! (Damn you, college!)

I'm a game dev student and as soon as I graduate I intend to get a hold of Nightow and convince him to let me get a team and make an official Trigun game since we never got "The Planet Gunsmoke" and Sega never even took the time to officially cancel it. However, that is a long way off but for now I've been working on a Minecraft texture pack. When I'm done I'll post it but if anyone wants to use it as it is now just ask.

BlueWindOfDeath- I'm also a game dev student, and that's definitely something that I'd like to hear more about. I've admittedly spent quite some time mulling over the problem of a Trigun game. Seems simple at first, until you remember that Vash is a pacifist. I've had a good number of conversations now discussing how one would tailor the gameplay for a game starring Vash, since he doesn't even like to cause nonlethal injury unless he can't avoid it. So I had the idea of a dual protagonist game, with Wolfwood and Vash. Similar to the original concepts behind Dinosaur Planet before Miyamoto shoved Star Fox into the mix, each character would have a different gameplay style. Wolfwood would be all run-and-gun, whereas Vash would be more twitchy parkour athletics and dodging and stuff, only pulling out the big guns for the boss fights or as a special attack. It's something that would take a lot of thought and skill to pull off properly, but a real Trigun game is something I'll NEVER stop wanting.

Jeredu That really could work. I've been playing "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" lately, and one of the achievements requires completing the game without killing anyone so that's proof Vash doesn't have to be ooc to be a playable character. And in situations where he does have to shoot his enemies rubber bullets are always an option like in Escape from Pain.

BlueWindOfDeath Right, and it would also be possible that he could shoot, but his shots would only disarm the opponents. There are many options and ways of pulling it off, once you get around the fact that you can't just make a standard shooter with him. Another incentive is to punish the player for harming enemies, with a score system, game overs, or something more creative like MGS3- In which, when fighting The Sorrow, you face off against every single person you've ever killed in the course of the game. If you haven't killed any, of course, then it's very easy. ;D It's something that I'd definitely be on board with brainstorming about!

I'm always willing to bounce ideas around when I've no prior obligations to attend to. I'm sure it would be much more productive than trying to figure all that stuff out with the neighbor's cat back home.

Jeredu - I love how much thought you've put into this! And I really like the ideas bouncing around for a gameplay style based around Vash's pacifism versus Wolfwood's all-out attacking. I imagine the game has a central plotline that drives the gameplay, but it'd be cool if there were also side missions to complete, like, capturing bounties or deviating to cities where there are "people Vash wants to save" and you have to run off and do that and try to do the least damage to the city possible or something haha.

karaii: Thank you! Most of him wasn't too hard to make, but his coat was a pain in the butt. XD All worth it, though. Jeredu: If there was a Trigun game like that, I'd probably choose Wolfwood, since my general gaming style is: panic and shoot everything!

I used to modify preexisting sprites from RPG maker too, but I was awfully slow at it. I'd really like to see a Trigun game Maybe if we all get together, we could split tasks and really DO it ! That would be very cool ;D

Alnee My C++ still needs a LOT of work but I'm totally in. It would give me motivation to actually study. I see we have several talented artists here, surely some of them may be willing to contribute. Do we have any creative writers here yet?

Alnee: Since abandoning the idea, I've thought about going back and making some kind of mini game instead, so that the task would be more manegable. If there were multiple people on the project, I might be interested. Jeredu and BlueWindOfDeath: Just thought of another way to work with Vash's pacifism and thought I'd throw it out there. You could do something similar to Assassin's Creed in which, if you kill someone, you still complete the mission and can continue, but it doesn't count as 100% complete. Then you could go back and replay that part until you've made it through without killing.

I'm amazed by how inventive you guys are (love the plushie and confessional!). I certainly wouldn't be surprised if you guys pulled off a fangame -- it sounds like you've got a great concept going!
ETA: ninjamitsuki, I seem to recall a YT video you did a few years ago where Gunsmoke was flooded with water and Vash and Wolfwood were acting like dopes? I can't seem to find it again but it really did crack me up when I first found it.
